Dog Body Parts


1. Head: The top part of the dog's body, where its face and brain are.

Example: "The dog's head is very soft."


2. Ears: The parts on the sides of the head used for hearing.

Example: "Some dogs have floppy ears, while others have pointy ones."


3. Snout / Muzzle: The protruding part of the face, including the nose and mouth.

Example: "The dog uses its snout to sniff everything."


4. Nose: The organ dogs use to smell.

Example: "Dogs have an amazing sense of smell thanks to their noses."


5. Paws: The feet of the dog, including pads and claws.

Example: "Be careful, the dog's paws are muddy."


6. Tail: The long, flexible part at the back of the dog, often used to express emotions.

7. Fur / Coat: The hair covering the dog’s body.

Example: "This breed has thick fur to keep warm."


8. Legs: The limbs dogs use to walk or run.

9. Tongue: The soft, wet part inside the mouth, often used for licking.

Example: "The dog licked my face with its tongue."


10. Whiskers: Long, stiff hairs on the snout, used for sensing.
