The way he psychologically tortures his victims—especially by giving them "rules" for his sick games—shows his control-driven personality and deep cruelty. His mask, which changes expressions, adds to the horror, making him unpredictable and more terrifying. The film does an amazing job of portraying him as a truly evil and disturbing villain, leaving the audience with an overwhelming sense of tension and fear.
